Last Saturday it was hot and sunny. Phil wanted to go out somewhere. His dad took him for a ride in the countryside. — В прошлую субботу было жарко и солнечно. Фил захотел поехать куда-нибудь. Его отец взял его покататься за город.

Phil’s dad put some pop music on and they sang songs and ate chocolate. Then the passed a dog on the side of the road. «Stop the car, Dad» Phil shouted. — Отец Фила поставил поп музыку, и они пели песни и ели шоколад. Затем они проехали пса, лежащего на краю дороги.

The dog didn’t move. Phil’s dad looked at its leg and decided to take him to the vet’s. They didn’t go to the countryside that day. But now Phil has got his own dog.
